Ideal for building strength and endurance
Our swim spas provide a current so you can swim in a compact aquatic environment that simulates swimming in open water – no turns, no shared lanes, no stopping. When you eliminate turning you build your true open water long distance endurance. In addition, for those who are in training, you can do an entire triathlon in your neighborhood—even practice transitions in your own backyard! Our Swim Spas produce a current similar
to a 50-minute Ironman pace. What this means to the average person or the elite athlete is that you will have more than enough current speed to meet your training needs.
No obstructions, no backwash, no turning
Designed with no obstructions, protruding benches or steps in the swim area, our swim spas allow even the tallest swimmer to stretch out and swim to their heart’s content with no fear of kicking a bench or step. This is also useful for proper access and room for caregivers or therapists providing rehabilitation programs.
Our unique tank design provides a wide, deep and even flowing swim channel that creates a natural return for the water to flow downward and away from the swimmer eliminating any back flow. Other manufacturers do not take this into account in their tank and propulsion systems leaving the back flow effect to impede a smooth swim and displacing the swimmer from the swim lane.
Wider swim lane allowing a swimmer to stay in sync
Our swim spa’s unique wide stream swim nozzles project a strong, nonturbulent water current that emulates a flowing river current which is both wider and deeper making it more enjoyable and easier to swim in. This is unlike most other swim-in-place pools where their “fire hydrant-like” air/water flow can force you to swim wide of the current resulting a turbulent, uncomfortable swim. Our patented flat wide mouth swim jets provide an
industry leading current flow in one direction — giving you consistently smoother water and a better overall swim experience.
“As a doctor and sports physician, I believe one should emphasize the special health
benefitts of swimming in a Hydropool AquaTrainer: Swimming uses the largest number of
muscles than any other exercise, the force of the current can be set at any steady level,
and swimming causes no trauma to joints, tendons, or bones.
The Hydropool AquaTrainer’s ability to provide a consistent workout that is beneficial to
all types and specific needs cannot be overlooked.”
